Right now singles are going out more and feeling more confident with the dopamine boost that sunshine brings. One dating site, Zoosk, found that 34 percent more first messages are sent each day in the spring - and, interestingly, that mentioning sunny words like 'beach' and 'picnic' in a message boosted responses significantly. Online dating and dating apps are now one of the most popular ways to meet a new partner and there are more than 1,400 sites in the UK alone, catering for people from all walks of life and interests. An online dating service is a good place to start.
